The whole process is very simple and easy to use, and most times the prices are much lower by using the online photo processing option and they are mailed right to your door. To use online photo processing, you will need to find a site that you would like to use. There are several options, some just do photos and others are extensions of physical stores like Walgreen's. If you would like to be able to upload your photos, have them printed and then pick them up at a local store within an hour you will want to choose a store like the latter. However, if you are willing to upload your photos to an online photo processing site and have them printed and mailed to you within a week or so, you can choose just about any site. You will have to register with a username and password, and then you can begin uploading your digital or scanned photos to the site. Many online photo processing sites now also offer the option of fixing and correcting photos, including red eye correction and cropping. Once you have finished fixing, you move to picking which photos you would like printed and in what sizes. Many times this is as simple at looking through a page displaying all of your photos and you simply putting a checkmark next to the items you would like to order. You can't get much easier than that! In addition to simple online photo processing, many sites offering items like photo albums, photo mugs, photo shirts and even calendars. The calendars are my favorite option and they make an excellent gift idea for family members. You upload your photos for each month of the calendar, and then you can even add in special dates such as birthdays, anniversaries and holidays to include on the actual calendar. In general these start around $18.00, so they are reasonably priced. These processing sites are also constantly offering promotional pricing, so you generally can get your photos printed for almost half the price of traditional processing. Most coupons are for twenty to thirty free prints, so that is practically the equivalent of a whole roll of film printed for free. Try online photo processing and see what you think.
